Cutting Edge’s design and fabrication has certainly been catching people’s eye at recent design shows.
KBB ISLAND
Visually stunning and completely reimagining what countertops can do, Cutting Edge’s smart countertops explores the unique benefits only Corian® can provide. The Island has integrated dishwashing trays, which slide effortlessly away to increase countertop space and working area. Modular racks and basins are built directly into the surface to make drying dishes and utensils easy and seamless. And embedded stainless-steel trivets provide a dedicated space for hot objects.
The island with backlit Corian® Solid Surface in Grey Onyx colour proved to be the most popular on the stand at KBB 2018, with much interest in the integrated technologies and features, including the wireless charging and backlighting, ensured the visually impactful island was as smart as it was stunning.
It’s a first of its kind and the possibilities are practically endless, with this Island’s design aesthetics, functionality and practicality.
CDUK Display Unit
The unit was fabricated by Cutting Edge for CDUK’s stand at the Display Retail Design Expo 2018 Olympia. It demonstrates the versatility of Corian® solid surface through colours and textures. It also showcases the latest technology for flat surface charging of phones and tablets, brought to life with dramatic backlit panel behind the logo.
